Auction Rules/Terms/Conditions:
1. In order to bid, individuals must register before their
initial bid with CancerCare Manitoba Foundation and include
a credit card number for reference. CancerCare Manitoba Foundation
will send the bidder an official registration form to complete
and return for approval.
2. E-mail bids will close at 12 noon on September 8th. All
other bids will close at 12 noon on September 9, 2005. CancerCare
Manitoba Foundation is not responsible for bids not received
via e-mail due to computer error, etc.
3. CancerCare Manitoba Foundation will transport and deliver
Biker Bear within the city of Winnipeg. Site placement is
dependent on ease of access and additional costs shall be
the responsibility of the purchaser.
4. There is a reserved bid on the Biker Bear.
5. Payment must be received by CancerCare Manitoba Foundation
within 30 days after close of auction unless prior arrangements
are made with CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
6. The Bears on Broadway web site will be updated three times
daily Monday to Friday at 9am, noon and 3pm to reflect the
highest bid as of that time. Weekend bids will be posted the
next business day.
7. Duties and applicable taxes are the responsibility of the
purchaser.
8. CancerCare Manitoba Foundation reserves the right to publicize
the purchase and shipment of Biker Bear.
9. The purchase of Biker Bear is non-refundable.
10. Biker Bear will be purchased on an as-is basis, as it
appears on Broadway.
11. Biker Bear will be available to the purchaser after October
22, 2005.
12. A letter of authenticity from the Sponsor; Breast Cancer
Pledge Ride, the Artist; Charles & Sarah Johnston and
the Fabricator; Inderaj Jhass will be included with the purchase
of Biker Bear.
13. The size of Biker Bear is: Base 7 Feet wide, Height 7
Feet and Length 11 Feet 6 Inches, Weight 3,600 kgs.
14. CancerCare Manitoba Foundation would like to ensure that
the future home of Biker Bear is in keeping with the spirit
of the Bears on Broadway project, therefore the highest bid
may not necessarily be accepted. |
