HOMEBEAR
This “history of housing” is a walk through
a century of shelters from the tipis of the first nations
and sod huts of the pioneers, to the homes of the early
20th century; over the years it is only the bear den that
has not changed!! The changing seasons and the forests
that are the base of our prairie home construction made
it all possible.

Although he has no formal art education, Hubert has explored
many art forms and enjoys the creative challenges presented
by a variety of mediums. His love of the prairies and
the pioneers have been recurring themes in many of his
paintings.
