Having first viewed the "bears" online via the WFP from the comfort of our home on the Isle of Wight England we just knew that on our next visit to The Peg we would have to view and touch them in person, and that's just what we did on Sept. 13th 2005, we actually snapped 114 photos to take home with us to show our grand children. Surely the bears should now remain part of Winnipegs attractions for ever more, allowing locals and visitors alike to come and view and of course touch (an automatic reaction to such great beasts). All credit must go to the designer and the artists for such a fantastic display and to the City of Winnipeg for allowing the bears to be placed for all to see. Our next "must do" is to see the Christmas Lights of Winterpeg -----------------
